Our Story

Desert Rose Jaisalmer was born from a deep love for the Thar Desert and its rich cultural heritage. Founded in 2010 by local entrepreneur Asif, our camp began as a small family venture with just three tents and a dream to share the magic of desert life with travelers from around the world.

What started as a humble beginning has grown into one of Jaisalmer's most respected desert camps, yet we've never lost sight of our core values: authentic experiences, warm hospitality, and respect for our desert environment and local culture.

Today, we welcome guests from over 50 countries, each leaving with memories of starlit nights, camel rides across golden dunes, and the warmth of Rajasthani hospitality that has been passed down through generations.
